April 15: 2 seminars, on Gut Microbiota and on Heart Failure

 

On April 15th at 3:30pm, Prof. André Carpentier, Head of the réseau de recherche en santé cardiométabolique, diabète et obésité (CMDO) in Canada, and a member of ICAN‘s Scientific Advisory Board, will give a talk entitled “Gut Microbiota Network”.

 

 

 

 

It will be immediately followed at 4pm by “Heart Failure: Novel Perspectives”, a second talk given by Prof. Luigi Tavazzi, Scientific Director of GVM Care & Research (Italy) and also a member of ICAN‘s Scientific Advisory Board.

 

 

 

 

These two seminars will take place in the Conference Room on the 7th floor of the E3M Building at the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital.

These talks are given in the framework of ICAN‘s Scientific Advisory Board April meeting, which consists of a day-long review of ICAN‘s scientific programmes in the areas of patient pathways, bariatric surgery, personalized omics, cardiomyopathies, gut microbiota, personalized care and therapeutic innovation in CMDs, tissue damage & repair, and fibrosis.
